I think it looks much better covered in leather, I'd take leather over painted plastic any day. It seems to fit better than a big piece of silver on the door. Nice job!

Great job. Could you tell us how you did it? Maybe too much black, but what about a different color leather? Grey, or maybe that other fabric...Alcantra?

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking of trying cinnamon leather (kind of a dark burnt orange) or a dark red. I also have some synthetic suede lying around somewhere (similar to Alcantra) I should try.

Hmmm...maybe it's time to go out and get some more leather...

Just teasing. Nice work. And a big improvement, too, no?

Wow. I like yours better. My leather has too much texture to it. I also love the yellow stitching.

Do you have any more picture of your interior and the roll bars?

Not really, but I can go take some. Stay tuned.

Thanks... the car has some interesting factory options. I do like the full leather and deviated stitching.

Sorry for the long delay. I don't want to embed all these pictures so I'll just provide links. Sorry the pictures are not the best - by the time I finished cleaning the leather the light had become very flat. None of the leather is actually shiny in person, that's the effect of the flash.

I managed to find the leather to cover the door pocket covers and the door pull covers on eBay. I found a very fine-grain, very thin leather and got a great deal on it. It matches the factory leather VERY closely in color and texture.

On to the pictures.
