You know, when I first got my boxster I didn't have them and bought them off eBay for about 125.00 for the pair.
I've done some research to have them made in quantity as a business thing for resale to undercut Porsche (they're not patented) but the setup costs were going to be 10k plus $40 per set... no way to make money on that deal anytime soon with the low numbers of boxster owners needed them.
So, you are at the mercy of the eBay sellers or the dealership. Do call Sunset and ask them for a price. They're still expensive, but more reasonable at 10% over cost.
