Fred, because your message came in as a "Visitor" message, I was limited in how many characters I could send back to you. I did anyway, but here's the original message:

fredinVa;
Yes, I still have it.
I don't have much history prior to me buying it about 18 months ago. I pulled it from an '04 S with 85k-ish miles, that was front-end-crashed, and put it in my '03 S.
When it first arrived, I hooked up the durametric to it and checked cam deviation and did a compression test on all cylinders; all of this checked-out very good. Then as I was changing fluids, I split-open the oil filter and looked for particles, and found nothing concerning.
Once installed, I put about 1500 miles on the oil I'd put in it, and then sent a sample to Blackstone. They gave it a thumbs-up.
Since that time, I've put about 5000 miles on it; mainly track and commuting to/from the track. It has performed flawlessly, with no hiccups, noises, smells, smoke, steam, stink or any other thing that would concern any of the senses, haha.

Of note: I installed an underdrive-pulley on it; this requires filing-off the tip of the TDC-Tool-bung on the front of the motor. [URL="https://tunersmotorsports.com/trs-development/installation-guides-instructions/trs-porsche-4-inch-under-drive-pulley-installation-guide/"](see here for more information)

What else can I tell ya?

FredinVa 11-18-2020 01:41 PM

Do you have the stock crank pulley?

Any other mods?

Any maintenance history (besides the oil changes)?

Are you willing to ship to Virginia? (my cost of course)?

FredinVa 11-18-2020 01:48 PM

ok, third try (the forum does not like me apparently)

Any other maintenance history (IMS, RMS, chain guides, tensioners, etc)

No IMS done under my watch. I didn't even look closely at it when I swapped it in, because I'm not a believer. ;-)

RMS; no signs of leaking, so don't fix what ain't broke.

with cam deviation numbers such as they were, I wouldn't be surprised to learn perhaps the tensioners / guides had be done, but I doubt it. ??

FredinVa 11-18-2020 05:20 PM

Thanks again for the quick response.

I will put my further questions in a PM.

I sold the lightweight flywheel and clutch, so when I removed it this evening, I took a moment to snap some photos before I put the oem flywheel back on.

You'll note: still no signs of leaking rms. Someone smarter than I might know something from that IMS flange. Looks factory to me. ??https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7ff9057d37.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8a590d86d0.jpg

An updated list of what remains.
Of course there are other items that haven't been listed here. If you're looking for an item and don't see it on this list, please look at the first post of this thread. If it's not there either, then I probably still have it but haven't yet listed it.
Or simply message me your wish-list, and I'll tell you what I've still got.

UPS Groudn is telling me $43.43 to ship one. (Calculated 18lbs, 40/8/8 box.)

you've been so incredibly patient with me, I'm willing to almost give these to ya, haha.
PM me and we'll talk about how many you want, and what they're worth for ya.

maytag 12-30-2020 11:33 AM

I bought a spec boxster, and need this gone.

I'm getting ready to start throwing stuff on ebay to get it out of here. If there's anything you want, please make me an offer QUICKLY.

Note that I really mean make me an offer. Make it reasonable, but I expect you to get a bargain from me.
But; please understand that the more questions you ask, beyond reasonable request for condition and pics of course, just makes it more difficult to sell and easier to just throw it on ebay. I need this tuff gone with the least amount of drama. I'd rather capture only half it's value, if it means I can spend half as much time doing it.

Also: if you want one item that's $5, i'ma care much less about that than if you want 15 items worth $5/ea. I need to make this worth my time to find a box and then go to UPS. I ain't running a business here.....

thanks for understanding that.

All that said:

YARD SALE PRICING!!! Hahahaha.

bcrdukes 01-01-2021 01:58 PM

Ah, darn it. You sold the Ohlins setup.
