The mirror cover broke off mine and need a replacement. It is for the Driver Side 2001 black in color.

Evidently we aren't alone. I tried glueing the broken pin hole back together but it didn't hold. I PMed the guys that are parting out Boxsters and had no luck. I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGyJCpum6cE where the guy replaces the broken cover with a new one. Not cheap, but hey it is a Porsche! I ordered one from ECS tuning for $58. Hasn't arrived yet, but is in transit for delivery on Saturday.

Hi if you just need covers for the mirrors on your visors, Uniwerks design is selling 3D printed covers in pairs for $32 here-Porsche 986/996 Sun-visor Mirror Cover Set. He says they don't have the provision to turn on the mirror light though if that's important.
