There is one for sale used on Craigslist in New Jersey. Use Search Tempest and search for Bret Krause. Guy wants 500 firm for it.

Is that really considered expensive? I bought mine for that much, but they did come with the added padding.

Not really, I have seen them go for that much before, I guess it depends on supply and demand and how urgent the need is. I think there was one for sale on this forum at a higher price a short time ago. I got my first one for $300, with no pads but some DIY style rollbar padding from Stable Energies. I sold that to a friend for the same $300 when I got the one I have now, which came with the pads, which I got when I bought my tire trailer. In between then I have bought 1 or maybe 2 more, and always resold them for the same price to folks on here. All less than $500, but if I had an event coming up at VIR or something and had to have one or else I would miss my event, $500 is a lot better than the new price, new price including pads is nearly $1000!
