I have a hidden hitch for sale. Mounts in bumper covered by license plate. The ball assembly slides in and locks with a key. Easy conversion. Move tow hook 6” to the right then cut hole for receiver. Bolts in. I am selling hitch, ball, hinged plate holder, and wiring converter. $265 delivered cont. US
Thanks
Van

Boxster Hitch

Hey Van, I'm very interested. I thought I saw some pictures of your project on here somewhere, but now I can't locate them. Can you tell me where to find them. I want to look at them one more time before I pull the trigger.

I have begun to track my car and I'm about 1 1/2 hours from the track, so I would really like to have a small trailer for my tools and tires. This hitch is the first step.
Thanks,
VT

VT,
Here is one very much like what I did.

Hidden Hitch - Articles

I used angle iron and sheet steel instead of the Machined Blocks. And bolted through the bumper. The hard part is making the hole for the receiver. You move the tow hook 6" to the right and use it for the safety chains. I have the same wire harness for the lights. The ball and hitch slide in and lock in place with a key. Completely hidden when removed from the car.
Great set up and I used it for 4 years. Now I have a Trailex Trailer and dont need.
