Ah, but you can search by part number in PET.
Most 996 555 xxx xx parts will be on the same illustrated parts breakdown.

Any chance one of those is a black 97-99 dash? Where are you located?

While listing parts like that makes a concise post, it is not very effective when you are trying to sell parts. Chances are that most of the guys looking for stuff here do not have ready access to PET and I guarantee that they would rather see a picture than a part number.
Prices would help too.
One thing about airbags. I have had some from cars that were turned into race cars. NOBODY buys 986 airbags. If a car was hit hard enough to blow the bags, it is likely salvage. I can say that setting one off in a snowman is kind of fun.

Of the 1000 transactions I've had selling porsche parts to people. Only one person has bought a side airbag. The fronts sell but those side bags are garbage. One day I want to wire them all together inside a car and set them off.

We (my neighbor and I) actually did a few of them. I found if you put them in vertically, with the end of the airbag that went toward the front of the car at the top, and pack them in REALLY tight you get a pretty good result. We had planned on setting another off in a garbage can with tennis balls on top, but that didn't happen. My neighbor got struck and killed by lightning last summer, but I still remember his laugh when we did the last one with one of his cowboy hats on top. I fell over backwards into the snow laughing and he just about peed himself. Good memories...
I don't think that you can legally throw an "armed" airbag in the trash, and nobody buys them, so you might as well have some fun with them.

There are at least a couple of things you don't hear of too often in this thread...

I suspect as much. I'm actually hesitant posting the airbags. Part numbers are more accurate. Pictures itself is insufficient. I'll gladly post picture of the parts someone is interested it.
