He tried me first and I appreciated that, but I only sell the cover if the fender is banged up. Unfortunately I don't have any wrecked fenders where the gas cover made it unscathed.

This thread should actually be a warning for all of us. The plastic on these cars are getting old and brittle and maybe that part should be replaced before the cover comes flying off. I've had a few people contact me looking for a cover for that same reason. Some I can help but most I can't.

Perfecto! Let me know your PayPal.

THANKS!!!!

Also, believe it or not, the local dealership has hinges cheaper than in the link above. I forgot the exact price, but it was about $16.50, plus I get my whopping 10% PCA discount.

PM sent. Do you have any pics of you van? I've always had a thing for that generation. When I daydream about winning the lotto. A 70's retro van is in the stable with the moon window, shag carpeting and the fuzzy dice.

Moola has been sent... thanks!

Ah, I got rid of the van. Actually, I didn't get rid of it per se.. it was stolen, and when it was finally recovered a month later, it had been trashed.

It was totally retro... I did the inside with paneling, shag carpet over 3 inches of foam, installed bed, sink, stove, wide fender flares and metallic blue paint, etc. Travelled all over the place in it.

Cool. That was my last cover, so make sure you really test it before going 100mph
