I checked with the guy who buys a lot of calipers from me and he only has a few bad back calipers but no fronts. .....free bump

So, I am kind of confused. Are you trying to make a big brake kit for a Boxster, or just something for show that looks like big brakes? Is that even a thing? Maybe I am just old, but I don't get it.
I do have a set of disassembled S/996 calipers if you need something to take measurements off of, etc., but I would want them back so I can refinish and reassemble them |

I am a form follows function kind of guy, so this stuff isn't my taste, but I appreciate the work that goes into it.
Finding junk calipers won't be easy. My spare set came from a 996 that had a stuck master cylinder that smoked the brakes. A shop gave them to me because they thought they were junk They looked ugly and the seals were roasted, but just a cleaning and new seals has them like new again. For what it is worth, the C2 996 calipers are the same as Boxster S, but are black instead of red. It may be easier to find those. You might also check with some take off rotors from a Cayenne Turbo. I am sure the local Porsche dealer service has stacks of them for scrap. They are huge and those things go through them in 15k miles or less. I don't know if the offset would be right, but it might be worth a shot. You could have them cut to clean them up and I am sure they would be fine for what you need. Even new they aren't crazy expensive. |

The awesome news is that it looks very promising, I got a big 340mm rotor on my S after some caliper modification. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...psnivllhjc.jpg |
