986 2003 Bose Speakers/Amp
I bought a Bose upgrade from Woody earlier this year and have gone a different route.
Working Amp (with harness tail), door speakers/enclosures, dash speakers (minus the connector - damn installer cut them off), rear deck with harness. I was able to switch out the factory HD system using the existing wiring (had to splice the harness) almost plug and play. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1470769167.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1470769177.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02/Dash1470769187.jpg |

bump - would like these gone.
Works with the MOST bus... |
Hi! do you still have your speakers???:)
|
Yes - still here.
|
Will they fit in a 2001 S?
|
I had a CDR-24 with the MOST connection to the HD amp. It will require that MOST optical connection.
The amp is a drop in replacement for the HD amp. It required new wire to be run for the rear deck (4 wires). I then had to change the harness plug (wires are a color/size match , so it was a matter of splicing, soldering, and shrink wrapping - took about an hour). Speakers were a drop in replacement. Total time spent was probably 5 hours - most of that being very careful with the door speaker swaps. |
Bumpity bump

Still have them - would like to find a home.
|
Still here.
|
pulled - I am going to hold on to the system.
