I have a non bose amp. It still works but I don't need it for anything.

Can you send me a pic? Do you know if it is the same mounting and connectors as the bose amp?

tommy583 09-09-2015 05:31 AM

I'll send you some pics later today. But I kinda doubt it has the same connectors.

alm001 09-11-2015 08:37 AM

Still looking.

Non-bose amp has different connections.

I intend to use the dead/broken one to house a signal processor, and using the oem plug makes my life easier. I want to have one ahead of time so I don't have to drive around with no music for the time it takes me to assemble the DSP and install an amplifier.

bump. What's out there for reasonably priced working amps?

Richard G 09-15-2015 09:25 AM

evil bay has some on there that seem reasonably priced

I didn't think 150+ was reasonable, but what I did discover is that the connection on the amp is BOSE specific not Porsche specific. So basically I can get the same bose amp from a pontiac bonneville for 1/3 the price.

Good score

I still haven't bought it. I may just tear into mine and deal without a radio for a week or so.

itsnotanova 09-15-2015 05:45 PM

I don't have one

alm001 09-30-2015 05:02 AM

I'll bump this one last time, then give up and tear apart my working amp.
