Are these the ones from Leonard in the Atlanta area?
|
Why do you have so many?
|
Only 3 are for sale. I'm using one on my 986
|
Where did you find all these?
|
GLWS - nice pieces.
We have lots of inquiry minds on board. [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
That's what I do. I search high and low for stuff like this. It feeds my sickness lol
I mainly reside on Rennlist forums but, I figured I'd post this up here considering it's a nice mod for us 986ers |

Yes. It's 500 plus shipping cheaper than what sun coast offers

Bumper cover
Newbie question, so these bolt on to a base 2002 w/o any modifications? Using OEM hardware from original bumper cover?
Thanks |
Yes sir that is correct. I'm having one painted this Monday to go on my 986

I didn't buy mine from this seller but it is the same part number. Here it is in Arctic Silver. Since these pics were taken I have added a Porsche Motorsport spoiler lip which really makes it look nice.

I do agree that the lip is a must

The part number of the Porsche Motorsport lip spoiler I purchased is 996.505.986.91 . The fasteners needed are # 999.507.497.40 it is a bag of 15 . Sorry I haven't taken any pics since I installed it and my car is currently at Jake Raby's shop getting my 3.6 installed. The spoiler lip fit perfect however I'm not sure if I installed it correctly. What I mean is when you make the transition from the front to the side you can install it two ways. One way is so it gradually blends in to flush/under the bumper in front of the wheels. The other is to pull the spoiler lip " out " so it protrudes to the side all the way to the front wheel. I didn't like the way the transition corner " buckled " when I tried pulling it out. By installing flush in front of the wheel the transition is very smooth and just looks right to me.

yes - pics pls. esp from the side, as you never seen them on a car without side skirts, and i am interested to see if the front looks too 'heavy' as a result.
|
I hate side skirts. I don't mind side blades. I know it's not a 986 but, I don't run skirts in my 996 with a gt3 front end.

Trendy 996 what spoiler lip is that ? Part number ? That one looks like it " sticks out " on the side leading up to the wheel well.
