More Boxster Items FS
From my 2003 Boxster S.
Virtually brand new and never used tool kit, in leather case, with original plastic tire bags, plastic gloves, etc. $150 o/b/o
Oil filter housing with good o-ring and stock oil pan drain plug (I replaced mine with the LN items). These are perfectly good used parts, in very good condition. $15 for both.

bump....who wants some good stuff? The ignition switch is worth having as a back up, as these notoriously go bad.

Does the ignition switch needs to be matched with the key? Where are you located? Shipping to 94539?

Sorry - just saw this (haven't looked here in a bit). You do not need a new key. This part snaps in to the back of the part where the key goes. It is what typically fails and causes all sorts of funky problems includin a no-start. Here is the link to the replacement process: Porsche Boxster Ignition Switch Replacement - 986 / 987 (1997-08) - Pelican Parts Technical Article.
Shipping would be no more than $10 to CA.
