17 inch wheels and seats
I have four Porsche 17 inch wheels and the driver & passenger seats from my 1999 Boxster for sale.
The wheels are straight & true, but previous owners of my Boxster never missed a curb. All four have major curb rash. The tires are included. They are Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs. The front tires are good & fully serviceable with 15,000 miles on them. The rear tires are not serviceable.
The Savannah Beige seats have tears in them. The passenger seat has tears in the seat bottom. The driver seat has two major tears & wear in the back booster.
Prices do not include shipping.
I am asking $250.00 for the four wheels.
I am asking $250.00 for both seats.
If you take the wheels & seats, you can have them all for $400.00
I am in Central Texas (Temple).
Thanks

Can you let me know the part numbers on the wheels? (basically need the widths like jmitch. I am running spec boxster and need 17X7 and 17X8.5 widths in OEM wheels.) I'm local-ish so pick up won't be a problem.
Thanks,

911 Lurker,
WILCO, the wheels are the standard OEM 17inchers that are 17x7 front running 205x50ZR17s and 17x8.5 rear running 255x40ZR17s.
The tires come for free (I have no way of taking the tires off the rims).
The center caps also come with the wheels.
I will provide the part numbers tomorrow.
Thank you for your interest.

I don't want to jump in line, but I'll take the wheels/tires. I'm pretty sure I can have someone pickup at your convenience.
Thanks,

911 Lurker,
As requested,
The front wheels are 996.362.124.00.
The rear wheels are 996.362.126.05.
All have "Made in Italy" stamped on the inside.
Please see attached photos.
I do not have a dog in this fight. First to come, first served.
JMitch,
If I ship them to NC, how do you want them shipped?
Thanks

Hi MNC1,
What options are available to you? When I have purchased tires in the past they were shipped UPS. Do you have anything to help protect them? I don't want to drive you crazy over this, just trying to ensure they get here in decent shape.
Thanks!

JMitch,
I went to my local UPS store.
They measured the tires on my Boxster (same size, just different style OEM wheels).
UPS quoted me $154.00 to ship the wheels/tires to you in North Carolina. The clerk used a zip code for Fairmont, NC (the clerk is from the Ft Bragg area). The clerk stated the price will be about the same for anywhere in the state.
He can put two wheels/tires in a box. It is $77.00 per box as long as the total weight of the box is no more than 75 lbs.
If you still want the them (thats $404.00 total), I can have them shipped this weekend.
If you want, I can check to see what Greyhound charges. It has got to be cheaper. I will still place them in two boxes with bubble wrap and well labeled.
If not, 911 Lurker they are all yours.
Either way, I'm off to buy wheel & tire cleaner. I refuse to ship filthy tires/wheels.

Hi MNC-I,
Sorry but I am going to have to pass on the wheels at this time. A home repair expense came up yesterday that I was not expecting. GLWS!

adc,
Sorry,
I sent the seats out with the trash a few months ago.
You might want to check with Woody (ITSNOTANOVA) in Bastrop, TX. He gave me a super deal on a set of Porsche sport seats that replaced the ones I had for sale.
Good Luck

+1 on Woody, he helped me with some parts for my snapped front hood cable, and he did it on the weekend as well.

adc,
Check out the Austin, TX craigslist under parts key word Porsche.
A guy has seats just like the ones I had for sale for $400 and they look from the picture to be in much better condition. They came out of a 996.
