Wanted Hardtop for 986 in DFW area
 

I frequently see hardtops offered for $800 to $1000 in other geographical area, but none ever seem to pop up reasonably priced in my area. I'm looking for one in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and willing to pay $1000 for a nice condition one for my 2001 986.

No longer need one. Bought and picked up one this AM about 40 miles from my house, woo hoo!!!!!

Man, you got lucky! How did you come across this?

Posted a wanted ad on the Maverick Region PCA website. A local guy had purchased a 987 and needed the room in his garage to store that hardtop, so he contacted me. 1st communicated with him at about 10 AM and by 1:30 PM, I was already headed back home with it installed on my car. Nice guy, he even pitched in a couple of free wind deflectors that I needed as well.
