FS LSD for 2.5/2.7 transmission
I had this limited slip made for my race Boxster but have since sold it before I got the diff. I have used this style of LSD on many Honda/Acura and VW's. It works very well. I would not put on par with a GT unit but it is a good cheaper option. This is the first one built for a Boxster trans. Basically it has a copper sheet with a friction coating on it. Then a spring loaded block is installed between the spider gears putting pressure on the friction sheet. This diff is from a 2.7L trans. My understanding that it will fit in a 2.5 with a different bearing or a 2.7 side cover. Not sure if that is 100% correct.
