Today I removed the rear seal and replaced it with one with a small tear, which does not appear to have any effect on leaks, noise, etc. The seal spent a few weeks in my car on a glass top I installed on the car with no problems. Since I have not sold the top I swapped the seals (a new one at a dealer is probably around $130 but check your own sources). I don't think you'll need one. I've listed the top on ebay with a $300 buy it now price indicating I will NOT ship it.
Shipping is too expensive and is a hassle for me and any potential buyer so it is now available for local pickup only. I'll help you put it in your station wagon or van or truck within 1 1/2 miles of Zuma Beach.
