Cheap shipping options for large parts

I notice a lot of people on here have some really expensive options for shipping. SO I thought I would help some people save some money.

Amtrak offers pallet sized shipments up to 500 pounds cross country for only $275. They also do large pieces like bumpers and fenders for half the cost of FedEx/UPS.

Another place to inquire about is a bus station. Greyhound will ship oversized items for a very reasonable price. I shipped a full size bumper that didn't even need to be packaged for $30.

It takes a little more effort as you have to go to the station to pick it up but you can save a ton of money. Good luck!
