Das Schilds are hood and trunk liners that go on on the inside of each. AFAIK, this is an aftermarket part and was not a factory option. Since you said it was a stock Boxster, I assume your car doesn't have them.

I might be interested in the plastics underneath the car. I found a small rip in mine. The plastic I am referring to is the one closest to the engine.

yes they do, but I had sold the whole car to a guy and he stole it and replaced it with the 98/99 steering wheel when he returned the car to me. But Astoria Queens is not that far
