Boxster Cup 3 17" wheels w/ almost new Blizzak LM 22s - SE PA
 

Hi all,

I have a set of 17x7.5 - 17x9 Boxster Cup 3 wheels for sale, shod in almost new Blizzak 205/50/17 and 255/40/17 LM 22 tires. The tires have between 2500-4000 miles on them. This was my father's boxster and wheels, which I received from him last summer, thus exact mileage is not certain.

The rims a few marks on their faces - they are not perfect. They shine up great and are great for a set of wheels you are ready to drive through winter, but if you are a perfectionist you'd want to re-finish the faces as least. They are well balanced - I'm a balance fanatic and I notice a very slight vibration at a few speeds, but that could just be a worn out bushing on my car .

Update: current price is $525 for the set. Willing to drive 50 miles to deliver or arrange shipping paid by buyer.

Bump - Any interest or thoughts on the price point? I'm trying to feel these out. I won't use them since my car is garaged ~4 months a year, don't want them to go to waste, and would prefer them out of my house :)

Bump $750 OBO - willing to consider shipping for a very serious offer. I like to do pick-up because I like to know my buyers are completely satisfied - which is always a risk when buying unseen - but I will work to provide complete details and pictures to satisfy any concerns, and then arrange shipment for the right buyer.

How much would you estimate shipping would be to Chicago?

I'm updating the price to $650. I'd like these gone. They have not been re-mounted since my original post.

This is a great set of winter tires/wheels and will make a year-round driver very happy. I am about to engage on a serious garage project involving ripping out all the drywall, re-insulating, etc., and I really need these gone.

Bump to the top. I've gotten some interest and am willing to ship.

I estimate shipping for the most part to be in the $100-125 range. For a good buyer, I'm willing to make this very easy and package these babies up tight and protected.

I'm going to start dropping the price in small increments to get these out of my house/garage, but I'll give it another week before commencing. Wait me out trying to get the price down or secure them for yourself now - either way, these shoes are moving out!

Down to $575 picked up or delivered by me within 50-75 miles.

Bump to $550 for the set. These are great winter tires that complement the boxster well. I've driven them a fair amount (maybe 500-1000 miles) and the ride is smooth, steering input is still solid, and handling remains crisp - despite switching from michelin pilot sports in a much wider and short profile.

Whoever buys these will be very happy, will have a tire that holds its own below 40 degrees, and will have zero problems getting the owner home in the event you find yourself with even a few inches on the ground.

This is a set of boxster-specific 17" wheels with almost new, quality winter tires mounted and balanced for less than a set of tires alone would cost. I've had a number of nibbles on this and I'm really surprised at the lack of real bites. If anyone can provide recommendations, I am very open to them - I want these out of my garage and onto someone's car who will enjoy them.

Sold for $525. I feel that's an awesome price.
