3.2 motor and tranny

My buddy is getting rid of his Motor and tranny he has, It is a 3.2 with a 6 speed. That will come with PCM as well. Let me know your offer and we will go from there. The motor was regasketed everywhere and runs great. I want to help him get rid of it with the 6 speed as well. Make an offer. I do know what they are worth together and seperate, let's make a deal.

Great for an upgrade.

How many miles are on the combo?

100000. Clutch was done at 80,000. and It had new gaskets from Porsche throughout the entire motor around the same time. The Oil has only ever been mobile one 0w40 and the Dealership where he is from he knew the techs really well, so they hooked him up with everything. He doesn't want to see it go, but he needs the money.

What year engine? What gaskets were replaced & why?

BoxsterS21 03-03-2011 01:46 PM

He got a bigger motor.

The gaskets were replaced because an inexperienced tech diagnosed an issue and thought it was a head gasket. (Wasn't a Porsche Tech)It was the AOS. So the dealership pulled the engine apart and regasketed everything only to get the car back and have it still blow more oil (All parts came from Porsche. No after market crap on it). I then looked at it and replaced His AOS and it fixed the issue.

It will also come with the exhaust (Not PSE but gutted muffler- Nice sound).
Again it will have the PCM as Well.

Also Came with Sport Seats. Might be willing to get rid of those as well if he finds the ones he wants.
