2 Button Key Remote - FIXING

Hi All,

My Boxster (968) 2 button remote stopped working on both the main and secondary keys. After investigation, I found that the Tactile Switches on the circuit boards inside the keys had collapsed.

This is a common problem and not that easy to overcome.

Porsche could not repair, only replace which would have been upwards of £100 with the reprogramming. So I decided to look into repairing them myself.

The tactile switches are obscure and hard to get but I have managed to secure some. All is now well and the remotes are like new.

I can replace any of your problem switches within your 986 or 996 keys with new tactile switches. Just send me the internal circuit board and I will send it back cleaned, tested and RECORDED within 2 days.

Thanks.
