No - not w/o lot$ of mod$ :new fenders, lights, etc.

When did the 996 get the new lights? They earlier ones had the same as the 986.

They changed the lights in 2002 on the 996. If it's a bumper cover from a 99-2001 996 I think it will fit fine without modification.

2002 for the naturally aspirated Carreras. 2001 for the Turbo.

have to pass on this one then...

too bad for me, the front cover was only $50, granted it needs a repaint, but still fifty bucks kind of makes you wonder if the mods are worth the look? thanks for the info. Jeph, the tumbler site (what i did today) is pretty cool, i never saw that before.

I got my bumper for free but, when it was all said and done cost me $4850 for the conversion.

Thanks! Tumblr, to me, is the greatest web site since eBay. I take pictures with my phone and upload them without ever touching a (real) computer. It's fun, fast, and free.

And after you've been doing it for a while, the Archive View looks really cool.

Ha! "Dibs." I just got a physical the other day and the doc says all my cholesterol levels look good! I like my food how I like my tires... melted or fried!

Glad it's not just me. After seeing Jeph's site last year I bought stock in Lipitor.

INCORRECT. It will only fit if the bumper is PRE-2002 off a Carrera (or PRE-2001 if it was off a Turbo).

germaniac, if you're bumper is from a 2001 or older Carrera, then and only then will it fit.
