FS abSpeed 986 Boxster Exhaust and Midpipes
 

I have just received this back from FabSpeed under warranty with a new midpipe and a fresh polishing. Its still in the box from them so I have not posted pics, but if anyone is interested I am asking $800 shipped for the system. Retail was $1500.

how much for just the mid pipe?

the mid pipe is the cat delete right?

Why did you have to send it in for warranty? What neded to be repaired fixed? Is this the newest generation exhaust?

The midpipe/ cat deletes are proprietary to FabSpeed's exhaust, so they will do you no good without the muffler.

This FabSpeed's previous exhaust, it went in to have a midpipe replaced after a weld cracked around the resonator.

Is this the setup that will allow you to delete your cats with no CEL light. I've got the Dansk headers and hi-flow cats but still get a CEL.

does this setup add any power?

does this delete some of the cats?

this is NOT the header system correct? jsut the midpipes and muffler.

anyone hear this in person - or know any video clips of what it would sound like.

my guess is that this is all audio - and NO POWER gain.

you do know that there is a website with all of fabspeed's products on it with dyno sheets and everything else, right. Not to mention that if you search around on this forum you will find that you CAN make power with just mid pipes, which should, and I emphasize should, be a know brainer.:cheers:
