986 Boxster hardtop, pickup in Texas $1000
 

I have a hardtop for a 986 Boxster available for sale. The color is Porsche Black Metallic as you can see in the scans. The pictures are from this past Sunday so they are current. The top has two areas of scratches on the top and that is where the top meets the factory stand as I had it stored improperly. A purist WOULD want the two areas touched up. Other than that, it’s a fine top and looks good as you can see in the pics. Back window is tinted for the Texas heat. I am located 26 miles south of Dallas Texas and I will NOT ship the top. I’m willing to drive about a 3 hr circle around Dallas if we come to a deal to meet you, you buy me a tank of gas. I am now incurring legal expenses for a fight I’m having with my warranty company over an engine I had replaced a few months ago so top is available for sale. Price is $1,000 firm, picked up or $1,000 plus a tank of gas delivered within a 3 hr. radius of Dallas by myself. IF you come and get it, you will get a factory stand for it as well. If I have to bring it to you, no stand is included. I am also willing to throw in the spinlocks, that is what you mount on your car to accept the top, we will have to take them off my car in order to include them. This is a good deal if you happen to be local and want the top, please don’t waste my time or yours if you have no intention of buying the top. Please don’t tell me to hold the top for you and then you never come, please don’t say you are buying it in a week or whatever and then never pay, please don’t tell me you want it and then a day before we are supposed to meet you tell me you changed your mind about the color (the color is clearly shown in the pics) Please don’t tell me you are buying it and then when we meet all of a sudden you want it $100.00 cheaper. As you can tell from my ramblings, I’ve had this for sale a time or two in the past and the above is the type of games that buyers have played. I don’t like games and won’t play them with you. Must be paid for in full BEFORE you take possession of top. If you want to see it in person, feel free to come on down. I can accept payment via Paypal or prefer cash in person.
