B&M clone in the factory base + teflon bushings

I moved over to the 997 shift mechanism so I've decided to sell my short shift kit. This includes the factory base and rod ends. I also replaced the cheap, sometimes poorly fitting bushings and washers with quality machined Teflon parts. I'm also including the original 986 shift lever. It's listed on ebay, here:

Let me know if there are any questions.

fits 6 speed 2000 Boxster S?

This fits all 986, 987, 996, 997 models. It is on a 986/996 base, so it will be missing a screw down location on the 987 and 997.

The 997 shifter is nice in that it's about half way between the stock 986 and the B&M. The shifts are shorter and feel more mechanical, but not as much so as the B&M. It's not nearly as notchy as the B&M, which, when cold, was a real annoyance.

Clearly, this transmission will never be as nicely weighted and flickable as a Miata or S2000, but the 997 shifter at least makes it feel like a sports car while still being easy to get into gear.
