And just a question. I have noticed that a very very larger number of people who purchased pre-owned Boxster don’t have a user's manual. What the hell is going on here? I'm really curious about this. I have never traded-in or sold a car to somebody with out leaving the manual in the glove box, what do you do with a manual for a car you don't own?

Well, in the case of a Porsche, you rape the car of every single thing that is not glued or welded onto it so you can sell it on Ebay and make a few more bucks!

I received one single key for my 97. Period.

They guy who sold it to me had even removed the clear windstop he showed in the pictures. I told him I would not take possession of the car if it was missing.

Now I must temper this comment with the fact that people often take their manuals into the house and promptly lose them. And I don't know about your boxster, but mine has no glove box to speak of... hence the reason many manuals cannot be found!

Oh yes, I bought my manual from a dealer, special order $38

ahhh . . . . I have my manual smashed in the pocket behind the drivers seat, but I see your point. I still dont have a radio manual ( or my radio code ) . . . I guess Ill keep looking for that manual and next time I'm at the dealer Ill get them to get me the code.
