I am looking for a wind buffer. I saw that one, but thought it was a little sketchy because it didn't come with any hardware (as if the guy might have yanked it from someone's car...) They have been selling on ebay, the wind buffer, and grills and attachment hardware for mid 2oo's, so that is cheaper.

Does anyone know of aftermarket wind buffers? All they look like is a piece of plexiglass cut to dimension and some simple attachment hardware. And actually, what would be even better is a folding or sliding wind buffer. Anyone seen anything like that?

Thanks,
Larez2

Yep... I won't buy Porsche windscreen, headlights, wheels from an anonymous source on ebay on principle. It just doesn't seem right to support the market in easily stolen Porsche parts.

I have purchased snow tires and wheels from a message board, but I confirmed the seller had been posting for several months as a Boxster owner before the purchase. His story of replacing the Boxster with a new 996 also checked out.

I'd rather pass on a deal than feed the beast that eats parts of our cars when left unattended in parking lots.
