Red face Arctic Silver v. Variations V. Polar Silver

Hi Experts,

I have a 2003 Boxster in Arctic Silver. . . however. . . there seems to be a little confusion on my end as to if it is possible to have a colour code variation from 2003-2010?

I cannot find an indicator sticker on my car at all. (have tried behind the tyre, in door and in manual)

My understanding is 1996 to 2002 was Polar Silver, 2003-2010 was Arctic.

2003 is Porsche Arctic Silver in 2003 was 92U (also known as X1)

Does anyone know anywhere else I should look for the colour code in the car?
Is anyone aware of a variation between the Arctic Silver over time?

Any other tips for making sure I have the correct colour?

My hood sticker reveals my 98 is Arctic Silver. So... I dunno.
