Detailing Exhaust Tip

Ran across this tip, it works great, so I thought I'd pass it along...

Bar Keeper's Friend easily knocks the crud off the exhaust tip. Then finish it up with some steel wool. And it only costs a couple of bucks at your fav store (I got mine at Target).

Or, get ceramic powder coated. :)

Looks good, I used steel wool with Meguiar's Chrome polish. I thought it would take a lot more elbow grease than it actually did to clean up nicely.

I sprayed mine with BBQ High Heat Black in a rattle can
Worked great and cheap to touch up

They also sell a silver shiny high heat paint . Don't know how it looks

YMMV

Steel wool and polish for me as well. Once done they actually stay pretty good for a long time.

Here is mine, buffed/polished with my bench grinder.
