Detailing order??
My car has a couple of scratches and chips that I plan on fixing with a Dr. ColorChip kit. Should I fix all the scratches and chips before or after compounding the car?
Seems like fixing them first and then compounding would help blend everything in better..? |
Scratch repair comes after paint correction but before any sealant or wax. Touch up paint normally needs a few days/weeks to harden. If you do it first you will just remove it when you go over the area with a compound or polish. I have written about my detail order on my website if you are interested. Good luck with the detail!
