$29,000 set of tires.
 

So, I recently went to Butler Tires to get a flat fixed and after watching the Bugatti Veyron 253 mph run, in which the folks at Top Gear said the tires would last only 15 minutes, I wanted to ask how much a set of the specially made tires cost.

To my surprise, they sell two versions, one set costing a mere $17K and the other more expensive set costing just $29K. That's just for the tires. Wow.

I wish i could watch that in Hi-Def. I heard Top Gear was going to play reruns on Science Channel, I've been checking every other day in my "search" section of my cable guide and "Top Gear" never yeilds any results!

Does that price for the tires include a road hazard warranty of any sort? :rolleyes:

Guess its a good thing that at that speed, the car runs out of fuel in only 12 minutes.. ;)
