Well, I hope it's looking better. I am in the process of redesigning the forum. Le me know if there is anything you would like to see that I may be able to do.

Page breaks @ 800X600
 

Jorge,

The homepage breaks at 800X600. One really has to scroll a lot sideways to see everything. Can you put in a fix for that? It's rather annoying.

I have a suggestion for your consideration. I think it would be good to limit the image size for avatars to something like 65X75 pixels. If you take just any image size, you end up with weird alignment problems and things look kind of out of whack. 65X75 or 60X75 is the size of my pic image. Just a thought.

That rotating Boxster Forum thingy......umm, kind of amateurish IMHO. Not something you see on a professionally built website. I'd get rid of it myself.

How come there is just a 'post reply' button at the top and bottom of a thread?

Most forums (well the few I visit) have a 'post reply' button on each post. I find this to be a good feature.

If Joe Blow from Tucson posts something, I want to be able to post a reply that shows I am posting a reply to his post. You know what I mean? In other words, once I have posted a reply to Joe Blow, the new post I made should show that it is in reply to JB.

Go over to the MacCentral.com forums and you will see what I mean. Ah, better yet, I can attach an image here.

EDIT: OK, not sure how you attach an image here, kind of funky. But, if you look at the second post in that screenshot (my post), notice the (re: MikeS) next to the title of the post. That is what I am talking about, it shows that I am replying to a particular poster in the forum. That would be nice to see here.

OK, never mind, I figured it out now. You jut select quote and it does the same thing. You can disregard my question then.

I like your GUI. Apple. By the way, It is probably one of the most stable os's out there now that it has BSD for as its building blocks. UNIX is the only way to go :)

Yes, since Apple went down the UNIX path and with BSD as one of the core elements, it has really been amazing. OS X is very cool and as you say, rock solid stable. I work with Windows boxes all day and while I am not a Windows hater, I do appreciate using OS X all that much more when I come home (or when I happen to take my Mac laptop to work).

Anyway, here is a screenshot of what I was talking about in the PM I sent you. Note the numbers in RED in the ( ). Those indicate how many new posts a thread has gotten since my last visit to the forum. I was wondering if this forum software lets you do something similar?
