I have a '03 Boxster S that is my track car but I've slowly been modding it. I have 103K miles so new dampers were needed. The previous owner went with Bilstein B8's with stock springs.Other than that my suspension is completely stock as of now. I've had about 3 weekend on it so far and no complaints. I'd look into Oil mods before suspension if you are doing dual duty. I have a deep sump and baffle. For tire longevity I'm looking into doing the front Lower Control Arms soon to be able to get more camber in the front then look to do the same in the rear. From there I'll most likely go to a dedicated Coil over setup, do drop links and sway bars. If you are looking for a decent budget street and track setup look into BC racing, they seem to be better budget Coilover than ECS. Since I'm on a track build I'll be looking at Ohlins or Bilstein PSS9s. Tarrett Engineering has a good guide for suspension builders at different levels.
