As the story went on the other thread: http://www.986forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9137&page=1&pp=20

Just placed in the Litronics (they came with clear washer corners), have the clear corners and side markes coming monday along with a couple other items,Clear tailights next week.

Did not put "Boxster" sign back on, have not decided which or if I will put on.

So here is the outcome:

Sorry camera must have gone off when I reached for my buffer

It'll look better with the skirts too. But talk about them bumperettes, come on. You had all that stuff at the body shop and didnt get them to blast those? Very unique, not many aerokit I boxsters.

You know I actualy had them shoot a set of bumperetts for me (got two sets) put them on and just did not really care for the look, maybe after I "Clear up" my taillights it would look better. But I think I like the contrast, to much silver just does not appeal to me.

Yes, very nice. I prefer the aerokit I spoiler much better than the aerokit 2. Nice job.

Those trees in the background are so Houston. What's with gifs opposed to jpgs?

So did that require a new trunk? I notice your old spoiler and center brake light are gone.

The car will look years younger once you get those clear tail lights.

I like black bumperettes on my silver car, but on yours, silver may look slightly better. I only say that because between the spoiler and the diffuser, it almost looks busy back there. Maybe the clear tails will alleviate that.

Ya know some of us are not PS proficient like DJ , actually I was runing out of space on photobucket.

The Aerokit came with a new trunk lid, removed the spoiler "top bar" and unpluged the motor (have to still take out the cluster light for it) and also removed the center brake light and re-ran the wires to the spoiler.

As far as the bumper, it's funny with the top up it looks bad with silver bumperetts but with top down it looks ok, maybe if I pop them back on it will grow on me.

Travis those look really great, the ends have really clean lines. I like the rear difusers. I maybe the only one, bit I like the look without the sideskirts.

I missed it in the other thread, what kit was it and where did you get it?

Travis, looks great! I wouldn't put any skirts as the middle looks level with the front and back. I also have a feeling I'd like the set-up more without the new spoiler -- but I never liked tail spoilers on Boxsters to begin with.

Looks great. Definitely would get a 3rd look from me (all Boxsters get 2nd's)!!

I also would go without the side skirts. I always have liked painted bumperettes, but have not seen it with your set up. I feel the side skirts would make the 17" wheels look like 15's.

The front end is sweet.

later-

Jeff

Nice, first time i've seen the aero I front bumper on a Boxster. It really could use some sideskirts but still looks good.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

Cars looks great!

I like the way your car is coming. Looks great! Do you plan on adding the side skirts?
