Finally got a FACE LIFT!

Hey Guys -

Posting my first pics of my '00 boxster on the forum. I finally got a minute to take some pics of my updated '03 front & rear bumper assembly, litronic headlights, updated tail lights, etc. Makes a huge difference, looks a lot newer!

Also notice the body shop used a rear bumper that must not have been from the US - as it didn't accomodate the bumperettes. I'm loving the look without them! (Just being extra careful though...!)

Next up is the GAHH top, new rims, sport exhaust tip and whatever else I dream up

Sweet!, now I gotta get me a set of those '03/04 halogens. The new '03 bumper looks good. Probably your rear bumper was a euro that hadn't been cut out for the bumperette hangers. I just painted my bumperettes and I am pleased with the results.

I guess you had to get an '03 spoiler too. I like the back. Looks good.

If you don't mind me asking, how much?
Enjoy!

If you don't mind could you tell us the cost of the front & rear bumper and rear spoiler?

Sweet Deal, I did the 03-04 rear bumper about a year back. It changes the entire car I think, but i opted for the GT3 front end. What parts did you replace on the rear exactly? I did mine myself and was able to save a few bucks by reusing some of the parts from the 01.

The painted bumperettes look good but can't compare to yours. That is a clean look, I love the rear bumper! Congrats.

Thanks for the comments guys!

For those of you wanting to know costs... I wish I knew exactly! I actually had some bad luck, getting hit by people the first 6 months I had the car. Sooo, when I got hit in the front - I said slap on a new '03 bumper! When I got hit in the back, I said slap on a new '03 bumper + spoiler. The shop of course charged me for extra parts, but not the extra labor, which was cool - and the insurance paid for the bumpers, etc. I paid somewhere around 750 bucks for all the extra parts on the rear bumper assembly, heat shields, etc... and also for the spoiler setup - kinda steep... but I just had to do it!

I was telling them to paint my bumperettes as well.. but LOVE not having them at all. super clean.

How much do those 03 front bumpers go for?

Is it just bolt on? or is modification required?

BTW, hot car man...
