$15.01 Silver interior Mod

Here are some pictures of my $15 dollar interior upgrade, I painted as much stuff as i could remove from the interior that would be painted silver from the factory.

I Used Dupli-Color Sandible Primer, Dupli-Color Chrome, and Dupli-Color Acrilic Enamel.

They came out really really nice, Not chrome looking at all, but a deep silver. Only thing that bothers me alittle is that at nite the silver parts look alittle grey-ish but during the day its beautiful glossy silver!

Thanks, My gf agrees, she just seen it lastnite and thinks the car looks afew years younger and more option filled. She said that if i didnt tell her i painted the center console myself, she would have thought that i went to dealer to get butt raped for it instead.

Help with driverside AC vent removal

OH yes, I almost forgot. I couldnt paint my A/C vents cause i could not remove the drivers side vent...

Thing that stopped me was that i couldnt not figure out how to remove the light switch to gain access to the 3rd mounting screw.

How do i remove the light switch.

Also, whats involved in removing the Center A/C vents? How to i remove the A/c Controls and Radio to remove the rest of the screws that hold the Center Vents on?

Looks great in my opinion. How did you prep for the paint. Did you need to sand anything? Also, where did you get the paint supplies? Thanks

Pull the light switch all the way out and use a paperclip or something to pop the release (underside of switch...and yes, it's hard to see).

Boxster Aluminum trim

Here are some photos of aluminum / silver trim that I added to my 2002 Boxster S last month. I obtained these pieces from BumperPlugs. I feel that it makes the previously all black interior of the car much more visuallyinteresting[IMG][/IMG].
