My 2001 in her Matte Black Paint

Here's a video I made right after the paint job was complete. I have since installed a Joe Toth ducktail.

Just wanted to share, in case anybody else is thinking about matte black. I could have gone with a wrap, but at a local shop I was able to do paint for less $$$$, so I went that route.

Yesterday, I found somebody's business card on my windshield. I just said, "I took some pictures of your car today. Here's a link to where you can view them. Thank you."

So, here's that link.

It looks very nice, well done Me personally, I like a gloss black but I like the red accents and the whole works well together.

Thanks.

The original gloss black paint was pretty far gone. I actually wanted to do a complete re-color, and would probably have gone for an orange or bronze, but my wife said no. She didn’t think anything but black would look right with the interior, which is tan and black. My compromise was to keep it black, but go with matte to get a different look, and I couldn’t be happier.

I just don't understand the flat paint look. It looks the guys with no money to get vehicle painted so they just primer it.

So if you see a Lamborghini Aventador in Matte you figure the guy couldn’t afford paint?

The flat/matte look is very aggressive. Military vehicles, stealth fighter jets, tanks etc, all in flat paint.

I think the beauty of owning a car is that it's yours and you can do whatever you want with it . The paint job looks nice, I like the red accents. Where'd you get your side Porsche decal?
