Thanks guys!! I took the pics with my dslr Nikon. I just stuck it up over the windshield when I saw what looked like a nice pic. Not the smartest thing in the world, but it worked out ok :)

The weather is going to be great for this late in the year in my area. So i'm planning on cruising around the finger lakes wine country this weekend. I hope to get some pics with a little more color.

I grew up in the Adirondacks, and your pictures of the Catskills made me homesick. Guess I'll be taking a trip back home soon.

Really like the second one in the second post...the distant trees are focused and sharp, but you've got a nice sense of movement in the foreground. :cheers:

Thanks Tommy, great shots. We eat occasionally at the PeekAMoose resturant on 28 when we’re out and about. My wife and I are both drivers and we love living in the Catskills.

Wow, this looks like a very fun road to be on! I love the fall colors as well.

I'm up around the Syracuse area. This was the first year I took a drive around the Catskills area, but it won't be the last. I usually either go up to the Adirondacks or over to the Finger lakes. Maybe we can meet up next year for lunch and a drive. :cheers:

Looks like a great drive. Only 7 hours away.
That’s a weekend away kind of trip.
Heck, I have to drive 3 hours north of me to find worthy twisters, what’s a couple hours more?

Sounds like the beginnings of a plan. Let’s see if we can put together a weekend lunch and drive this spring or summer. :cheers:
