New Member - Boxster S with Aero Kit
 

Hi everyone,

I have just bought my first ever Porsche from a friend and I am in love :-)

It's a 2004 986 Boxster S with the Aero Kit. Handles fantastic. Only problem is the drivers window regulator is crunching and groaning.

Apparently the car is an ex- Porsche Demonstrator so has all the toys except Cruise.

Hopefully will have plenty of miles of fun.

No immediate plans as I'm just really getting used to driving it.
I'd love to swap the PCM out for an aftermarket head unit but I have the bose system and it's an expensive job.
Need to save the pennies up :-)

Nice ride! I frequently get comments on my car's aerokit from other Porsche owners. It's a very nice upgrade and apparently somewhat scarce. Good find!

Agreed. I usually hate kits or aero mods...but this one, with the color and later wheels, looks great!

These cars should never have left the factory without 18" wheels, GT3 bumper and skirting.


needs the best upgrade (IMS). A new glass window top would make it look about 10 years newer too. Congrats.
