My 2000 Boxster S
 

Howdy All,
I'm new to the forum (well as a registered user...did my research prior to buying here).

Here's my 2000 Boxster S. I bought it a few months ago, in the middle of a blizzard from a local Porsche dealer. My wife hated my BMW Z4, thinking it was like riding in a tin can....

The car itself is in brand-new condition; 1 owner car with 8,000 miles on the clock when I bought it, new tires and the IMS replaced, and I spent an hour with the tech who serviced the car going through everything he did and checked.

It was one of 3 Porsches owned by a guy so it did not see much use and was traded for a new Boxster.

I would have liked to have had real glass in the rear window and heated and electric adjustable seats...but there is a certain vintage sporting quality to going with bare basics (and my other car is a 1998 MB SL500 with all that stuff).

Do you ever go to cars and coffee at Captains Qtrs? I was there earlier this month (and two different people wanted to buy it!)...missing April to attend Thunder. But go when I'm in town.

Haven't been to cars & coffee. I'll have to check it out.
