you should consider doing the amber-ectomy to the Litronics. I did it on my Halogens but I've been too Lazy to go outside in the cold and pop out the lights and I can't find my soldering gun to melt the reflectors. A great project for only $20 and It really clens up the the front end.

How much did this all run?

--is it an OEM bumper, if not where did you buy it
--did the bumper bolt right on? if not what additional OEM parts did you need to buy
--how long did everything take from paint to install

Thanks for the heads up, looks SICK!!!!

You can PM me with the following if needed.

thanks,

KRZ

--Yes it is an OEM bumper, Same one from the Areo Kit II. Bought it from DPS Porsche Parts.
--Yes it was a direct bolt on, you just have to remove the side clips from the stock and place them on the GT3 (30seconds to do that).
--Ordered it Monday 2/6/2006...Done and installed on 2/9/2006.

**They forgot to deliver the lip with the bumper. It clips on to the bottom takes about 5minutes. I did everything inside my garage at home with no special tools. I had previous experience with removing the factory bumper so the whole removal and reinstall of the new one took 45minutes.**

***These pictures do the car no justice....It looks soo much better than the pictures show. I will take better pictures for the forum this weekend after it is all washed and clean***

Yep, thats the only one that fits from the factory because the headlights on the GT3 changed after that.

The bumper was $950 + $395 Paint + $85 Lip + TAX. And then depends on who does the install. If you have any mechanical skill then you can do it yourself. I am more than willing to help you through the install just PM me.

I need a GT3 bumper. Did DPS paint it for you, or did you have a local body shop do the paint? Did you also buy the GT3 ducts (behind the bumper) or stick with the Boxster ducts?

Oh, yeah, what kind of wheels are those???

Very nice all around.

Here's the GT3 bumper on a 911 with black wheels and RS intakes cut into the bumper.

Yes DPS did have it painted for me. The ducts are stock I did not touch those.

The wheels are O.Z. Racing 3pc Vela. They are 18x10 reara and 18x8.5 front. 285/30/18 rears and 225/40/18 front.

Thanks. Are you happy with the paint work? Looks good in pics, but that's not the same as in-person?

Last but not least, where did you get the Velas? I can't track them down and wonder if they're discontinued.

Cheers

I would rate the paint work 8/10...The color match is PERFECT...The only problem i have is there is a paint streek on the inside fender area...I have contacted them but Dayton, the guy i spoke with, is in vegas so he has not gotten back to me yet. I will find out if they will take care of that for me on Monday...Also I am waiting for the lip on Monday....

The wheels are discontinued....I was lucky enough that a guy from my church owns a wheel shop and he tracked down a set for me, you may have heard of his shop www.Superbuytires.com.

Check out my other post below this one, there are some pretty sweet pictures...
