Sorry Crono, but I just don't like it. There are so many other "kits" out there that can give the boxster that extra bit of "jazz" without "gilding the lily" .

coolbreeze551 07-25-2013 09:06 AM

I'm with you crono. I like it, I plan on buy a similar one from precision in the future, you've probably seen it on there site. I think it's the only other one for the 986 that has DRL's built into the bumper other than yours. I do like yours though :)

Crono0001 07-25-2013 11:12 AM

Haha. Maybe that's the effect I'm going for.
I've seen every kit out there (at least, I think I have) and nothing turns my head quite the same

JD,
My German is non-existent so do you happen to know:

How much the Ingle Noak front cover is for a 986.2 (S)?
What it's made from?
What their shipping costs are (in Europe/UK)?

I think i am a little far down the road to consider a replacement but... i like to have a little dream on the back burner at all times

Last I knew, the front was going for US$1400 - $1600. As far as the material is concerned, it's FRP that meets TUV certification.

1 Attachment(s)
My bumper also has the integrated LED
Its the turbo look
It's not as aggressive but I really didnt want the extra fog lights on top of the LED...too crowded IMO

Crono0001 08-06-2013 12:29 AM

That Z-Top is amazing looking. Very jealous :)
I also love that integrated LED.

So, I have something to confess.
*cough*

JD, I'll be honest. For a moment, I considered Speed Yellow

Looking good Crono!
any fitment issues? My bumper has a gap in between the side marker lights...thank god its black so it doesn't show up very obviously

Crono0001 08-16-2013 12:17 PM

Lots of fitment issues, but that's the way it goes with any aftermarket bumper.
I paid premium to have them fit it in. More pics to follow.

Simply stunning. Well done mate

I'd trade my GT2 front bumper for this one anytime

wow more LEDs to shake a stick at.
I like it...its sharp!

The orange side marker kinda throws it off do you think so?

Crono0001 08-19-2013 12:28 PM

To be honest, I like a little bit of amber. I thought about getting the clear ones but the amber gives it a little bit of older flare. I thought about smoking it out too, but couldn't come to a conclusion.

madmods 08-19-2013 01:30 PM

You should run a contest a-la-Johnny Danger and quiz "how many little lights on my front end".

That would certainly set someone in busy-mode ;)

I think what really ties it all in - is the Johnny Danger Action CD ! :)

Crono0001 08-19-2013 05:17 PM

Has its spot permanently in the CD slot.
