Had a good year here, but onto better things!

So over the course of a month I sold my Boxster (as some of you saw my FS ad on here) locally to an older gentleman who is intending on just driving it around town on a nice day. I had been waiting on selling the car to fly down to Houston and pick up this gorgeous 2005 Lotus Elise with the touring pack, and well over $15k worth of modifications (maybe even more than that!) that the guy sold me for the price of a base model WRX or BRZ with less than 27,000 miles on it.

Just some of the few modifications that are noteworthy:

- BOE Supercharger that takes the power from 180hp to 280hp.
- Difflow Rear Diffuser
- 2ublar headers and sport cat
- BOE SilentTouch Exhaust
- ProRAD upgraded radiator
- Upgraded oil cooler
- Entire Radium Engineering catalog (Fuel surge, catch can, fuel rail, coolant swirl)
- Carbon Fiber door cards
- Hardwired Valentine V1
- XLR racing wheels (stock wheels are being shipped to me right now)
- KoldFire tune

The car weighs around 1900lbs, and makes 250hp to the wheels based on dyno runs. It goes like a little rocketship. In the future I can add an air-to-water intercooler, some bigger injectors, a smaller supercharger pulley and a new tune to bring the power to roughly 310hp to the wheels. I'm looking forward to that day.

Flew down to Houston last friday and spent 16 hours driving back. This car drives better on the highway that my Porsche ever did, it blows my mind! Plus the looks and comments I get with it are hilarious.

It has been a fantastic year here on these forums, you guys helped me out a TON with ideas and DIY guides. Had a lot of fun with the Boxster, but I had to get my dream car. I'll be posting up a few more threads selling the last of my Porsche stuff!

Beautiful. I have always wanted one of those. The lack of storage space has held me back. A sportbike has more...

You'd be surprised! The rear trunk holds more than the Boxster rear trunk, especially with something like the Sector111 Booty. Granted there is no frunk, but I used my frunk only 3 times, and only once was because I really needed to use it. The other two times was "well, I'm near the front of the car anyways".

Sweet car! Yes, unfortunately, one of these is on my "list". I don't search too often for one because I am afraid of actually finding one that I can't resist buying! I remember as a kid, my youth Pastor, who had no money, bought a Lotus Europa. He explained that it was his dream so he saved everything he had and bought it. I'll never forget the ride, it was a blast. He didn't have anything else, but he had his Lotus! Have always kept that in the back of my mind. Enjoy the car, it sounds like you already are
