Went cruising yesterday and took a few pics

Nice day for cruising yesterday. I decided to test the 'made for dummies' camera I got for Christmas.

Very cool pictures! As soon as it warms up in OKC, I will take and post pics too.

Very nice l3m!

Can I make a suggestion?

I assume the white box in the front windshield it your toll road transponder. We have 'em here in Illinois, too. Works great. Looks awful!

I spray painted mine with flat black paint. Then, they virtually "disappear" in the window. If yours has a sticker on the front, you can either remove it (and keep in a safe place) or just re-apply after painting. Just depends on how stealth you want the look to be.

Takes all of 10 minutes. Remove the sticker, remove the plastic velcro strips (will need new ones), wipe the box with denatured alcohol (if you want to be extra picky), hit it with 2-3 very light coats. Done. Any flat black paint will work, does NOT need to be anything special for plastic or such.

About to put her up after a long day, several homes visited, burned another tank of gas, and, as I look through the door closing the garage, I realize I am glowing like a very happy owner.

I will gladly jump in and burn another tank tomorrow!

Thanks for the comments. I had to touch up the pics a little bit with MS Digital Image Pro but I'm pretty happy with this camera. It has a WiFi feature where you can send pics wirelessly to an android or ipad device.

@Chief - Hope to see you in one of the local meets.

@Flavor987 - the Texas EZ tag is a sticker with a tiny transponder. If you peel them off, they can't be reused and they cost $15 each. Thanks for the suggestion.

@Homeboy - looks like it was a nice day in Dallas as well. Still looking forward to a Texas meet someday.

Dude, remove that EZ tag with a razor blade, spray the side that faces the windshield with black spray paint, and use a little double stick tape to re-apply it right under the window seam behind the rear view mirror and it will disappear. It will even work in the tinted area of your windshield... don't believe what they tell you about placement.
