2 long months after buying car

Hi all,

I just wanted to share pictures of my car after 2 long months of a bunch of DIY and maintenance when I first purchased the car. Now I can finally drive it :)

Looks great! I like the two tone hard top! What all did you do to the car?

I spent lots of time vinyl wrapping it.. The car use to be artic silver. I have added Litronics, skirts, rear diffuser addon, wheels, suspension, 2din unit and more lol.. I'll attach a list here soon!

I can't see the pictures... They just appear to be small boxes with a red "x" inside

Have your 0-60 times dropped since the wrap? White Boxsters are the fastest.:)

LoL. My car is so slow :( I'll worry about that later when I enjoy this a bit more...

Axp2948, you really lowed her a lot. The rake looks more pronounced, too. Did you drop the front more (proportionately) than the rear??

Vinyl wrap you said? So one could say you are an "Expert Wrapper"

You wrapped the whole thing?

Love the wheels, hard top, skirts (a good girl has to have a nice skirt)…is she lowered too?

So you don't have to worry about bugs, chips, or road 'assalt', nice?

Just change the vinyl? How much? I think I know how you did it but if you have any instructibles, that would be awesome! Let's see the inside too…it is CF?

Nice job….my but you have been busy! ;)

They are coil overs purchased from eBay. I need to find out from my ship what setting they set them to.

LOL I by no means an a Expert Wrapper. I learned as I kept messing up each part. It took a lot of time and patience to wrap each part of the car. I was originally quoted 2500-3000 for someone to do it, i ended up spending about $500 for all materials to wrap the entire car. I pretty much started one part each day when I get out of work and then a couple hours on saturday. Sunday would be reserve for NFL football :) Interior pics will be up soon when my seats and steering wheel comes in :)

Maybe paint your rear bumperettes white....or wrap?????????

axp2948 11-05-2012 09:15 AM

I haven't thought about that yet.. having mix feedback on the two tone. I left them black because of the two tone off the hard top and vent grills.

looking good! What skirts are those? I been looking for ones that are less than $1000 lol

axp2948 11-05-2012 11:29 AM

I actually purchased them as factory aero kit skirts...
