Sounds like fun.

Now that would be a fun drive. I'm jealous!

Great pic, I go up all the time, NC has more twistys then I could ever drive. Hit 226a sometime, it is a blast. Let me know if you ever want to do a drive together. I have a second boxster that I let friends drive and a buddy that has a new 911, he likes going every weekend if he could.

We got off the Parkway just past Little Switzerland, onto Hwy. 80 towards Marion. Talk about a windy, twisty road. That would be a nice road to travel when it's not so crowded, like it was Sunday. We were going in the downhill direction, but I bet it would be more fun going uphill, letting the big dog eat. I'll give you a shout sometime when I can cruise. |

That's one of the states I haven't visited yet. I bet you have plenty of open roads though? Plenty of places to open' er up. |

Sounds like a great trip.
I have done the BRP several times on my Goldwing and LOVE it. Looking forward to driving it with the top down |

Loved the NC mountains…but got a couple tickets in as many days for driving "Texas Speeds" in North Carolina. I was in fear of the speed limit and unable to enjoy as much of the mountain roads as I would have liked. On the hand, or coat, you go to Cali and there are wild mountain roads rising out of nowhere….and you HAVE TO SPEED by a lot or be run over by the line of people behind you. Of all the places I have drive Cali is the MOST LIKE A RACE!! In TX and CA open' er up - is the daily drive style! Come on down, let 'er race! |

I wanna go too...
I'd love to run the BRP, only thing being, it's about a 12 hour drive away.
Nothing like taking a roadtrip to take a roadtrip! |
