Funny you would post this as I had the same moment yesterday. There is just something that makes you feel good looking at these cars when they are all clean and purty! I have had other Porsche's over the years, but I can't quite put my finger on why my Boxster has found a special nitch.

Yours polished up really nice. Whats the history on her (miles, mods, etc...)

I have these moments quite often. You would think after driving one of these cars over 200,000 miles you would get tired of it but NOPE not me. I will be in the garage doing something and just stop and look at the Jägermobile and just smile. I also get a big grin on my face when driving it... What's up with that? :D

I still catch myself looking over my shoulder at my car as I am walking away after parking it. When someone notices, I just say I'm checking to make sure its not too close to another car.

Yep 5 years later still staring.....the car has some really nice lines

Yup, these cars are much better looking that they're given credit for. I think it's a victim of its own success. Eventually, it will be appreciated for the design classic it so surely is.

Think how different it would be if they'd only made a few thousand of them. Then again, it's only quite recently that 246 Dinos have been appreciated for the beauties that they are.

For me, that's the car that's closest to the 986 Boxster. They have quite a bit in common. It's just they built maybe 30 times as many 986s as 246 Dinos.

I still get goose bumps all over; especially around my ankles for some reason .

Left mine at home when we went on spring break. I was so excited to get back home, had to run an errand, wife ask for what and had to come up with something so lucky we needed milk for son in the morning. She was wondering why it took an hour to run 2 miles to store, explained I took the scenic Route.

Love my car.

Lookin good! I understand that feeling. I spent 3 hours doing a concours detailing on my friends new 991, after all those hours of looking at a silver car I pulled my Guards Red Boxster out in the bright midday sun and WOW she looked good!

Mike,it's whatever turns u on!
It's funny though I have the same problem,it's great really isn't it!
Your car looks great very shiny.
I'm using that Meguiars Gold class polish, with there 4 step process, but
thinking about changing to the Swiss Vax method.
Do u know anything about this?
It's seems quite expensive and there is a lot of choice with the wax u can use from £65 to £500 just for their wax, would u or anybody who's used it makes a noticeable difference?
I used to use that Mer polish for my Red Alfa,it wasn't bad,but the Meguiars is
a nice finish and lasts quite a few washes,Happy driving,Dave.

I get a lot of comments and looks with my Boxster, even after 10 years of ownership!

It definitely has a timeless design and I will be keeping mine for a long time.
