New car, new mods, now black wheels?

Hello everybody! I recently bought a 2001 Boster S with 50k mi on it, and have started to mod it and thought I would share. So far i have debadged it and this weekend I smoked the tail lights. Now im thinking about painting the stock wheels black, but am having a hard time finding pics, so i was hoping you guys might be able to share some pics of Boxsters with the stock 17s painted/powdercoated black, on a black car would be great too. Also what is the correct name of my paint color?
Thanks guys! here are a couple pics:

Even gunmetal might look nice on a black vehicle .

Your car looks great, love the wheels. Does anyone have pics of the stock 17in "S" wheels painted black (or dark)?

Beautiful car! Your color should be Basalt Black.

I was thinking of doing the taillights also, but do not like the big contrast between the red and smoke. I imagine the contrast would look even more outdoors?

I just thought of this, but maybe a dark smoke on the upper portion and a very light smoke on the red portion would look decent? What are your thoughts on this?

These are standard 03 face lift Boxster wheels, and I wish I could change the colour of my Boxster for you to see the full effect of the rear light cluster.

check the paint code on the sticker under the hood. it's probably "metallic black" vs. black - it'll seem to have a little "sparkle" to it. there's another similar called basalt black which is code LC9Z.

* Black = L041
* Basalt Black = LC9Z
* Black Metallic = L744

My advice is to sell the original wheels and buy (original) black ones.
