Smile Excellent fall drive to Nashville

Last weekend I took my 1999 base Boxster to Nashville for a extended weekend trip. Started out on Saturday cool and foggy. Oh yes started from Ontario. Once we got to Ohio and it was clear and sunny dropped the top. Drove to Nashville top down, very nice day. Car drove perfectly. Parked it over the weekend and then off to Kentucky on Monday to the Kentucky Bourbon Tour. Once again excellent weather 80's and sunny. Drove to Maker's Mark through great twisty back roads which were nice in the boxster. Left and stopped of in Cincinnati over night. Cool the next day so top up but still a nice drive. The car has 134000 km and ran like new. Was a 2300km trip and car was amazing. Time to change the oil and clean for the coming winter. Will be stored for the next four months. Crappy but spring will come. Always nice to end the driving season with an excellent ride. Looking forward to spring already.

It seems that you maintained well your boxster.

People always seem surprised when we are magically able to complete a long drive in our ride. Yes, these cars are aging, but 134K is barely even broken in!
